Aren’t all RGB fans for looks anyways, I mean it’s obvious if you just care about performance T30 at max rpm, nowadays gpus, etc are all pretty cool. I’m curious what are yall favorite fans?. I’ve never tried the P28’s, but most reviews value them highly for price to performance. TLDR: they're not just RGB T30s. Mar 26, 2023 · Before I share the results, I want to see if anyone can guess which fans do the best at sucking air in (intake) and which do the best at pushing air out Nov 22, 2023 · Hey guys, I’ve recently ordered some custom length cables for my A4 build, and since I’m taking apart I’m considering upgrading my Noctuas NF-A12x25s for two Phanteks T30s, question is: Will they fit before I pull the trigger and buy them? I've thought about replacing my P12's with the T30's but under 1000rpm the P12's look to perform better which is where I have my fans set. Tbh now that we've seen the NF A12x25 dethroned by a thicker fan, I wouldn't be surprised if either a 140mm T30 is released to further cement their place, or Noctua/Bequiet/others start releasing thicker fans to keep competitive. I was a bit worried with their Metallicgear subbrand and afraid they'd go down the "cheap-but-flashy" route (esp. Lian Li’s P28 3 pack is going for $49 right now, while NF-A’s/T30’s are roughly $33 each. each t30 has a switch that limits their maximum speed. the knock-off-tastic Neo Qube) - but at least the core brand remains quality. So yes, on the max setting, at full speed, for sure they're loud, but they move so much air you shouldn't really need to run them at maximum tilt unless you haven't dimensioned your loop properly. Yes, in the advanced mode the T30 can exceed most 140 fans by both airflow and pressure developed.
