Waikato tainui sports grants. PVO is designed to foster positive behaviour and culture across all parts of sport from the sideline to the court or field. Waikato-Tainui is a great tribe of over 90,000 members moving toward the future with growing robustness and strength. Our grants, structured under Kia Tupu – To Grow, Kia Hua – To Prosper, and Kia Puaawai – To Sustain, offer financial support to projects that nurture knowledge, foster environmental prosperity, and ensure sustainable guardianship in alignment with Funding from Lotteries Grants funding, via Sport New Zealand, ACC, corporates, trusts and foundations supports this initiative. This grant is available to individual athletes, sports administrators, who are attending tournaments. Sports teams and/or clubs that have a strong affiliation to Waikato-Tainui and its Marae are also eligible to apply.
