Skyrim black flickering. Jan 3, 2026 · I’m experiencing a black shimmering / flickering effect on building surfaces when ENB Ambient Occlusion is enabled. The lines move every now and again and then stay in place. Does anyone know how to fix this? Occasionally when I play today, I get a black flickering screen which slightly obscures my vision (I usually play in first person) and, more annoying, I cannot move when it happens. Mosty consists grey or dark blue flickering, as i watched, it works in places with higher chances. The issue is only present with AO turned on and completely disappears when AO is disabled in the ENB settings. first though i deleted atigpud. dll out of the skyrim folder. 435: Added normal mapping shadows effect for sun light, complex particle and fire lights.
